It is crucial, especially for businesses, that you make the most of the space available on your pallet and maximise the amount of stock you get out in every pallet shipment.
Picking the right sized pallets will also ensure it is less likely that your stock will become damaged during transportation as well as making it easier to be loaded and unloaded at the beginning and end of the journey. Pallet Sizes
All pallets used in shipping have to adhere to the ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation)* regulation. Some of the most commonly used pallets used for shipping within the UK and Europe are:

The popular “Euro Pallet” (800 x 1200 x 120 mm) is the most common choice for small businesses within the EU. All “Euro Pallets” are strictly regulated during manufacture by EPAL (the European Pallet Association), who regulate every part of the pallet from the type of wood down to the last nail and are small enough to fit through most doorways.
