Important service update: changes to residential collections and same-day cut-off times

Important service update

As part of Europe’s largest express palletised freight distribution network, National Pallets works in partnership with other hauliers to ensure delivery of every pallet on time.

Residential Collections

Following sporadic problems with collections from residential addresses due to difficult access and properties being unmanned, our network has collectively decided to implement some changes to the service levels for same-day collections. Regrettably, we can no longer offer same-day collection from residential addresses. It is very important to understand that a residential address is defined by its location – not simply by whether a business is operated from that address – as incorrect declarations may cause delays and excess charges. For further information see our terms and conditions of carriage. All pallets from residential addresses will now be picked up on a next working day service or date you specify in the future.

Same-day cut-off times

In addition, there will be a minor change to the cut-off time for our same-day service for business addresses: the cut-off time for bookings will now be 11am (instead of 12 noon) to enable a same-day collection. We trust that you appreciate that these changes are necessary in order that we can deliver on our promised service levels and maintain customer satisfaction.
