Collections and Deliveries Between European destinations

Most of our customers know that we can take care of shipments within the UK, exporting elsewhere into Europe or importing back to the UK. However, we’ve found that few realise that we also collect and deliver palletised freight between other European destinations – with the same standards of service and tracking.

All inter-European shipments booked with National Pallets are handled by reputable partner companies within the long-established pallet network to which we belong. Deliveries are never subcontracted out to hauliers whose credentials are unknown. What's more, these benefits are available to everyone, as – unlike the arrangements with most freight forwarders or transport companies – there is no need even to have an account with us. New customers can make a one-off consignment booking via our online system within minutes. Plus, for existing customers, the process could not be more straightforward, as orders for other inter-European shipments can be placed just as if you were booking collection and delivery within the UK.

No restrictions

Whichever non-UK countries you are shipping between – Germany, Ireland, Denmark, France, Italy, Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Czech Republic or Slovakia – there are no additional restrictions, as the movement of goods is between EU countries. In other words, the restrictions in freight are the same as for goods being shipped from the UK. Although invoicing paperwork is not compulsory, it is recommended, to ensure that there are no delays if the goods do happen to be stopped at customs.
