I'm a UK based sculptor and recently used National Pallets for the first time to send some delicate artwork to Berlin for an exhibition. I had never palletised anything before and was initially concerned for the safety of my work - but decided it was the only cost-effective way to get it to Germany (and back again). The team at National Pallets was extremely helpful in assisting me with the details of the shipment, including giving me advice about how to package my work safely on the pallet. The driver who picked up my work at my studio was also very nice and knowledgeable. The shipment arrived in Berlin (within 3 working days, as promised) without any evidence of a scratch on the outside of the large cardboard container my work was in. Once the exhibition was complete I used the same pallet to re-package the work. National Pallets was able to delay the arrival of my art back to Leeds by a day as per my request, so I could be present to retrieve it. In short, they are very responsive to customer requests and they are easily reachable by phone - also they are able & willing to track the shipment en-route, so you don't have to guess which day it will arrive. For a first-time customer, I greatly appreciated their professionalism and assistance. I would absolutely use them again to send my work domestically or overseas.

I found the service quick and simple to use, and at a competitive price. I would definitely use again as I am out the country a lot and I sorted it all on line which was brilliant.

To whom it may concern.
I needed to move 5000 compact discs to Amazon, and tried several couriers for quotes. All of them were hideously expensive.
Thankfully, our distributor, Boomkat, recommended National Pallets.
When I called National Pallets, the phone was answered instantly and I spoke to a charming young lady, who was most polite and very helpful. Anyone dealing with Amazon as a merchant knows that they are notoriously difficult to deal with when it comes to getting information about where the distribution centres are, how to book your stock in and how to get a time slot. Thankfully the person I spoke to at National Pallets knew exactly who to contact at Amazon, and gave me the correct contact email address. After that, it was plain sailing.
The goods were picked up by a friendly, careful driver, and everything arrived on time and intact. The on-line tracking system at the National Pallets website worked perfectly.
This is exactly the sort of company I have no qualms about recommending and frankly, if the rest of Britain was run by people of the quality found at National Pallets, everything would run much smoother and people up and down the land would no doubt be happier. The other courier companies and shippers I called were pretty typical fare, unhelpful, rude, hard to contact and when I managed to speak to someone, they were brusque and treated us like a nuisance rather than a potential customer. Then when we could cajole them into giving us a quote it was on average, six times as expensive.
I really do hope that National Pallets can expand to couriering smaller packages. We moved £48,000 worth of stock with National Pallets, and were very reassured that the goods were in perfectly safe hands. I know that the courier business is a fiercely competitive space, but I simply cannot bear the idea that such a highly pleasant, efficient and properly run service should not expand and grow to the size of Parcel Force, a company that could learn... EVERYTHING from National Pallets. People really do appreciate friendly and efficient service, and certainly, we would be wiling to pay for it.
If you want to move anything across the UK that can fit on a pallet, you need to call National Pallets to move it for you. They are astonishingly cost efficient, with several packages, very quick. utterly reliable and polite, helpful, efficient and represent the best of British service. |

Having tried and failed to make a successful booking with two other pallet
firms - one of which couldn't provide a quote in over 48hours! - I found the
whole process very efficient and botht the sales person and driver very
accommodating and friendly. I will definitely be using again when next need
a delivery/collection. |

I wanted to tell you how extremely happy I was with your superb service.
From the moment I placed the order I was well informed until the moment the delivery driver turned up with my delivery, who was happy, helpful and nothing was too much effort for him. I really cant tell you how impressed I am as a female I always feel a bit out of my depth doing this sort of thing but you all made it very easy. Thank you

It was very easy, very fast and a very reasonable cost. I even had a call the next day to say it had already arrived at destination, a fantastic service.
